YesEarth Eco Consulting, in collaboration with the School of Livelihood and Rural Development (SLRD), is proud to support the Government of Mizoram in its mission to build a climate and disaster resilient state, with a strong focus on sustainable forest management, biodiversity conservation, and eco-livelihood development.

A high-level meeting was held with Shri Lalthansanga, Honourable Minister for Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of Mizoram, and Shri Rajeev Kumar Tiwari, IFoS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), to explore partnership opportunities for scaling impactful climate action across the region.

Shri Abhijit Sharma, CEO, YesEarth Eco Consulting and Mission Director, SLRD, was accompanied by Shri Limanuksung Longkumer, State Director, SLRD Nagaland, and Shri Francis Sailo, State Director, SLRD Mizoram.

The team discussed integrated approaches for ecosystem restoration, forest hydrology, sustainable livelihoods, and long-term climate resilience. Project financing strategies were also deliberated, including convergence with government schemes, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) support, and international climate and biodiversity funds.

YesEarth and SLRD will continue to provide technical expertise, policy collaboration, financing facilitation, and on-ground implementation to make Mizoram a national model for climate responsive and community led development.
