Job Purpose:
The Scientific Officer will lead environmental audits and research to promote sustainable practices in educational institutions under the YesEarth Green Campus Program. The role involves conducting energy, waste, and water audits, developing recommendations, and engaging with students and staff to foster eco-friendly practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy, waste, and water audits in educational institutions.
- Develop and implement sustainability initiatives based on audit findings.
- Prepare scientific reports and deliver presentations on audit results.
- Organize training programs for students and staff on sustainable practices.
- Collaborate with institutions to expand the program across North East India.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related fields.
- Experience in environmental audits or sustainability projects.
- Strong data analysis and communication skills.
Key Competencies:
- Analytical Skills to interpret audit data.
- Communication Skills to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Project Management for overseeing audits and sustainability initiatives.
