Internship Opportunity: CSR & ESG Corporate Engagement Initiative

The School of Livelihood and Rural Development (SLRD), in collaboration with YesEarth Eco Consulting, is inviting applications from dynamic, motivated, and articulate students for a Corporate Engagement Internship Program across Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, and Delhi NCR.

About the Initiative

SLRD–YesEarth is working extensively across India, particularly in the North Eastern region, on sustainable development, climate change mitigation and adaptation, regenerative agriculture, carbon projects, and community livelihood enhancement.

As part of our ongoing expansion and partnerships with industry, we are launching a structured initiative to engage with leading corporates and institutions to understand and strengthen their CSR and ESG priorities.

Role of Interns

Selected interns will play a critical role in bridging the development sector with the corporate ecosystem by:

• Engaging with large companies, corporates, and industry stakeholders
• Conducting structured surveys and interactions on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) priorities
• Mapping corporate interests, funding focus areas, and partnership potential
• Supporting in identifying opportunities for collaboration in areas such as:
  • Climate action and carbon projects
  • Sustainable agriculture and rural livelihoods
  • Waste management and circular economy
  • Renewable energy and environmental sustainability
• Assisting in documentation, reporting, and insights generation for strategic engagement

Locations

Interns are required in the following cities:

• Mumbai
• Pune
• Bangalore
• Chennai
• Delhi NCR

Who Should Apply

We are looking for students who:

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Are confident in engaging with senior professionals and corporate representatives
• Have an interest in CSR, ESG, sustainability, and development sector work
• Are proactive, presentable, and capable of working independently
• Come from backgrounds such as:
  • Management (MBA / BBA)
  • Social Sciences / Development Studies
  • Environmental Studies / Sustainability
  • Media, Communication, or related fields
